We strongly encourage that all participants try to pick up their packets on Friday before the race. If not, packets can be picked up Saturday between 5:15AM - 7:30AM at the Race Start. Packet Pickup for each race will end 30-minutes prior to the start. i.e. 6AM for Individual Marathoners.
RELAY TEAMS - Only one member of the team needs to be present to pick up the packet for the entire team.

Parking for Participants & Spectators (Offsite)
John Deere Dubuque Works, South Lot (1.6 miles from Race Start/Finish, 3-5 minute shuttle ride)
All participants and spectators will need to park at our remote parking location, John Deere Dubuque Works (South Lot) to get shuttled to the Race Start at Heritage Pond. Shuttle service will begin at 5AM and will leave every 10 minutes. The only exception to this are Relay Teams riding in 1 vehicle and participants staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Participants staying at the Hilton Garden Inn
Shuttle Service will be available at the Hilton Garden Inn ONLY to participants staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Participants not staying at the Hilton Garden Inn will not be allowed on this shuttle, and must make their way to John Deere Dubuque Works (South Lot) to get on the shuttle to Race Start.
In order to allow for quick exit to transition areas after race start, we will allow vehicle per relay team to park at Heritage Pond/Race Start. Relay Teams will be given a parking pass during Packet Pickup to use to enter the parking area at the Race Start.
If you do not have a parking pass for your team, you will not be allowed to park at Heritage Pond. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Parking at all Transition Areas is EXTREMELY LIMITED due to the remote accessibility of the trail. Please do your best to car pool with teammates to limit the number of vehicles on the trail. This will help traffic flow and allow racers to arrive in enough time to transition between legs.
Shuttle – John Deere Dubuque Works (All Participants & Spectators)
Shuttle Service Times : 5AM - 3PM
This shuttle will be mandatory for all participants to get to the Race Start, with exceptions being Relay Teams riding together in 1 vehicle and participants staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Shuttle will run to and from John Deere Dubuque Works, South Lot and will leave every 15 minutes, during peak times.
Shuttle Areas will be marked at the Race Finish for rides back to John Deere Dubuque Works.
Shuttle – Hilton Garden (ONLY for racers staying at the Hilton Garden Inn)
Race Start Departure Times: Marathoners – 5:15AM, 1/2 Marathoners – 7AM
Shuttle Service will be available back to the Hilton Garden Inn after the race concludes for those racers staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Support and Hydration
Aid Stations, Water and Fuel and Restrooms will be available along the race course. Aid Stations include water and fuel options, restrooms and first aid.
Fuel Details: Gatorade, water, HAMMER gel shots and assortment of fruits
Marathon Aid Station Mile Markers: 6.7, 10.1, 14.6, 19.1, 22.5
Half Marathon Aid Station Mile Markers: 6.7, 9.4 Miles
In addition to Aid Stations, Water Only Stations will be available at various crossroads along the course.
Marathon Water Station Mile Markers: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 12.1, 13.7, 15.6, 16.9, 20.8, 23.8
Half Marathon Water Station Mile Markers: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 11 Miles
Medical personnel will be available at the start line, finish area and throughout the course to cover minor medical issues. The medical tent is located at the finish line, and stationary first aid stations will be located at all aid stations. In addition, each aid station will have access to immediate E.M.T. and ambulance services if needed.
Finish Area Festivities
Make plans to bring your family and friends to the Finish Area to cheer on racers as they cross the finish line. Food, beverage, music, and fun will be provided at the Heritage Pond Finish Area.
We will have a Beer Tent at the finish line and all participants (21+ years of age) will receive a complimentary beverage. Food and beverage is also available for purchase.
IMPORTANT ID NOTICE: All participants looking to indulge in the consumption of adult beverages must present their ID.
The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, the race will either have a delayed start or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be cancelled. The determination will be made by the Run4Troops Management Staff.
As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable.

To Get Participant Notifications:
- Select your EVENT NAME and press the “Live Tracking” icon to add your favorite participants.
- Participants must be added by name as bibs are not assigned until packet pick-up.
- Choose “Notify Me” to receive push notifications for that participant.
- Be sure to allow the app to provide you with notifications.
